Two (2) Operation Support Coordinator - SMT Shipping par Intellact Consulting

OPERATIONS

·         Coordinating with agent/ client for scheduling vessel shuttling service, on timely berthing, sailing and quick round turn.

·         Shuttle service planning with client in respect to tonnage of cargo to be loaded and time of loading.

·         Liaising with agents/client/loadmaster of TSU and OGVs for berthing and timely sailing after completion of loading the OGV’s.

·         Pre-berthing briefing with the Masters of the OGV’s prior to berthing alongside TSV

·         Standing by to assist vessel masters with any operational matters.

LOGISTICS

·         Coordinating with agent/client with the delivery of Stores/provisions for vessels involved in the transshipment operations.

·         Coordinating with local agent/client for the timely delivery of air-freight and sea-freight to the vessels.

·         Source for suitable immediate Local Repair Workshops for mechanical/electrical defective machines/parts and replacement of defectives with spares when deemed necessary.

·         Providing any local logistical support when required.

CREW MATTERS AND WELFARE:

·         Coordinating with agent/client in arranging boat service for crew change.

·         Coordinating with agent/client in responding to crew visit to hospital or any other medical facility.

ADMINISTRATION:

·         Arranging if needed local permits and licenses to operate in Local waters and safety permit from the Maritime Authority/clients

·         Preparation daily reports.

·         Preparation Monthly Operational Report.

·         Updating OGV schedule.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position.

·         Relevant university degree in business administration, logistics, shipping.
